Reporting to the Manager, Rehabilitation Services, the Registration/Scheduling Clerk is responsible for timely patient registration and processing, assisting clients and staff as required, and scheduling of clinic time. registering patients for psychology services ; receiving and relaying messages via phone, fax and email; ordering patient charts as required, collecting and returning patient charts to and from Health Records as required; providing general support to clients and staff; and completing workload data as required. accordingly, participates in care team discussions as required, offering input and energy into efforts at improving clinic efficiency and functioning; Monday - Friday, 0830am – 430pm
Graduate of a recognized Office Administration Diploma Program an asset.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer programs/technology (testing may be conducted on candidates).
• Data entry skills required.
• Knowledge of Community Wide Scheduling (CWS) preferred.
• Demonstrated high regard for quality and attention to detail required.
• Experience with office equipment an asset.
• Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology an asset.
• Competency in other languages an asset.
