Position Summary

The Human Resources Administrator is a key contributor to the Human Resources program in Canada. The role focuses on providing administrative support for a variety of HR programs as well as answering routine inquiries from employees across Canada.

Essential Functions
  1. Track relevant human resources metrics and generate ad hoc reports.
  2. Disseminate bi-weekly toolbox talks and track responses.
  3. Collaborate on the maintenance of vendor accreditation platforms.
  4. Ensure each location has adequate personal protective equipment on hand.
  5. Enroll employees in training and professional development courses.
  6. Deliver new hire onboarding and collect paperwork.
  7. Assist with recruitment as needed.
  8. Set up new hires in HRIS and maintain all employee digital data.
  9. Answer routine employee questions.
  10. Report injuries to relevant provincial workers compensation boards.
  11. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual workers compensation reports.
  12. Update visual boards as necessary.
  13. Collect and review safety inspection responses and highlight any potential concerns.
  14. Collect and track annual performance reviews.
  15. Maintain organization charts.
  16. Collect and track policy acknowledgements as needed.
  17. Collect and track work vehicle inspection sheets.
  18. Collect and track workplace inspection sheets.
Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Able to communicate effectively and provide excellent internal customer service.
  • Able to work both independently and collaborate with others.
  • Proficient with MS Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Understanding of Human Resources best practices and employment standards.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who are fully bilingual (English/French).

Education, Training, Experience:

  • 1-2 years of Human Resources experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CHRP designation.
