A global leader in energy management and smart grid solutions is expanding its presence in Canada and is seeking a Sales Executive to drive market growth in Eastern Canada . This role offers the opportunity to work with major utilities and energy providers to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions that optimize grid efficiency and sustainability.
This is a true hunter role for a highly motivated sales professional who thrives on prospecting, winning new business, and driving revenue growth . The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in solution sales , with a strong ability to open doors, engage decision-makers, and close complex deals .
This individual will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, aggressively pursuing leads, and securing long-term relationships with key players in the Quebec and Eastern Canadian markets .
Develop a strong pipeline by identifying, engaging, and nurturing prospective clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, procurement teams, and decision-makers .
Lead complex sales cycles, including RFP responses, proposal development, and contract negotiations .
Work cross-functionally with internal teams (engineering, product, and marketing) to deliver tailored solutions.
Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes to strategically position the company’s solutions.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to network and uncover new leads.
5-10 years of experience in solution sales , with a track record of hunting and closing new business .
~ Proven ability to generate leads, open new accounts, and drive revenue growth .
~ Fluent in French and English – essential for engaging clients in Quebec and surrounding provinces.
~ Strong ability to navigate long sales cycles and engage multiple stakeholders .
~ Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
~ Experience selling into utilities, smart grid, energy management, or industrial technology sectors is a strong plus .
