OBJECTIF GÉNÉRAL

Responsable de la gestion des employés du centre de service. Assurer la satisfaction des clients en acheminant tous les envois dans les délais et sans dommages, tout en respectant les politiques et procédures de l'entreprise et de la réglementation.

RESPONSABILITÉS ET FONCTIONS ESSENTIELLES

• Établir et maintenir de bonnes relations de travail en communiquant effectivement.
• S’assurer que les pré-quarts de travail ont lieu sur une base quotidienne avec tous les employés.
• Communiquer et aligner la culture et le plan opérationnel du centre de services sur la vision et la mission de FedEx Freight en promouvant le changement organisationnel.
• Diriger les employés vers le développement des connaissances et des compétences ; superviser l'ensemble des activités de formation et la participation des mentors
• Transmettre des attentes claires et tenir les gens responsables de la réalisation des objectifs, appliquer les mesures correctives nécessaires pour recadrer les employés.
• S’assurer que les installations et l'équipement sont en bonne condition, propres et sécuritaires.
• Participer au comité de santé et de sécurité du centre et soutenir ses activités.
• Veiller à ce que toutes les mesures de sécurité nécessaires soient prises pour protéger les employés, le fret, l'équipement et les installations.
• Fournir un soutien opérationnel à l'équipe de vente afin de promouvoir la croissance des revenus et d'optimiser l'expérience des clients.
• Examiner sur une base continue le volume des envois du centre, la configuration du quai, les itinéraires de ramassage et de livraison, le plan de dotation, l’utilisation de l'équipement et d'autres procédures pour atteindre une efficacité optimale tout en répondant aux exigences des clients; créer des plans d’action au besoin pour saisir les occasions.
• Voir à ce que les employés adhèrent à l’ensemble des procédures opérationnelles du centre de service, et ainsi s’assurer que les envois demeurent dans le cycle opérationnel désigné.
• Diriger les employés afin qu’ils adoptent de bonnes pratiques de manutention du fret, y compris en ce qui a trait à la prévention des réclamations, les matières dangereuses, les surplus, manquants et avaries, les exigences en matière d’analyse de fret et l’utilisation des outils et de l’équipement.
• Examiner et surveiller tous les indicateurs de production et d’efficacité contenus dans les différents rapports et analyses, et créer des plans d’action en présence d’occasions à saisir.
• Rechercher des pistes d’amélioration en dialoguant avec les employés du centre de service.
• Gérer sur une base continue les biens matériels, l’approvisionnement et les fournisseurs et travailler étroitement avec les employés chargés de l’entretien des véhicules, en fonction des besoins.
• Vérifier des factures, des rapports des coûts contrôlables et d’autres relevés financiers pour évaluer la rentabilité des opérations comparativement au budget établi et réduire les coûts dans toute la mesure du possible.
• Travailler de concert avec le bureau général et le soutien aux opérations pour favoriser la cohérence et veiller à la conformité des exigences et des attentes de tous les centres de service.
• Se conformer à toutes les lois et à tous les règlements applicables, de même qu’aux politiques et aux procédures de l’entreprise.
• Effectuer d'autres tâches au besoin.

QUALIFICATIONS DE BASE

• Minimum 5e secondaire.
• Diplôme d'études collégiales ou baccalauréat un atout.
• Minimum trois (3) ans d’expérience dans l’industrie du transport, dans un rôle de direction des opérations.

AUTRES QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellente connaissance de l’industrie du transport de chargements partiels (LTL), de la réglementation du DOT et du MTO, des lois relatives à l’OSHA, des règlements sur les matières dangereuses, de la NMFC et des règlements tarifaires.
• Connaissance des politiques et des procédures de l’entreprise un atout.
• Leadership reconnu et excellentes capacités en communications interpersonnelles.
• Aptitudes au travail multitâche et bonnes capacités organisationnelles.
• Bilinguisme (anglais/français) au Québec, requis.
• Connaissances de Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) et Internet.
• Excellentes aptitudes à la communication (écrite et orale).
