Business Development Associate
Keir Surgical Ltd. is a Vancouver-based company that has been in business since 1923. Our mission is to be Canada's premier surgical products company, through a strong commitment to our customers, employees and products, pride in being Canadian, and adherence to a solid business strategy. We are seeking a Business Development Associate for full-time employment, based out of our Vancouver Office. This position will report to our Director Business Development and work closely with all members of the sales and management team, with responsibilities as follows:

- undertakes opportunities for advanced learning in the specific fields of surgery;
- Takes ownership of all Surgical product categories, developing and executing a business plan for growing sales and increasing overall organizational knowledge and brand within the categories;
- Involvement at the Site level in customer sales calls, meetings, in-services and product trials/evaluations as well as Trade Shows;
- Collaborates with suppliers, maintaining strong business relationships and communication;
- Contributes to sales training, development of educational resources;
- Collaborates with Management on RFPs, pricing contracts and completion of clinical and technical responses;
- Works closely, cooperatively with sales, customer service, operations, and marketing personnel in support of growing the product categories and operational efficiency;
- Manages expenses related to travel, conferences, promotions; Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Business Administration or Marketing
- ability to present information to customers
- Entrepreneurial attitude and a focus on customer service
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
