We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Staffing Specialist – Salesforce to join our PMO team at Plative. As a Sr. Staffing Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the right talent is available to support our clients' Salesforce projects. You will be responsible for managing the full staffing lifecycle, from identifying resource needs to onboarding and ongoing resource management.

To excel in this role, you will work with our Delivery Leaders and Sales teams on a daily basis. This includes assessing project staffing requirements, determining the company's capacity and skillsets to meet staffing needs, assign personnel to projects, track & maintain certifications & skillsets, and train others on resource planning/staffing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Delivery Leaders and Sales Leaders to proactively staff projects in an optimal manner
  • Collaborate with Delivery Leaders and Project Managers to solve ad-hoc staffing issues and requirements
  • Collaborate with Solution Consultants and Directors to create resource plans based on project deliverables
  • Assess future resource needs for opportunities in the pipeline, and “soft book” resources where appropriate for such future projects
  • Assign personnel to projects based on their skills, experience, availability, and project needs and budget
  • Monitor utilization forecasts vs. actuals, and drive continuous improvement of forecast accuracy and resource utilization
  • Monitor project margin (planned vs actual), and partner with Delivery Leaders to optimize staffing and effective margins
  • Influence and direct hiring direction based on current and future anticipated resource needs and gaps
  • Manage relationships with implementation partners/vendors and independent contractors to provide additional flexible staffing capacity
  • Maintain an inventory of core skills and proficiencies for all team members including certifications, accreditations and licenses
  • Work with Sales leaders to understand what are the in-demand certifications for our partners (Salesforce and NetSuite), and guide Delivery team members to attain those certifications as needed
  • Identify any tools enhancements needed to better enable resource planning/management capabilities at Plative, and convey these requirements to the Operations team for implementation
  • Assist the PMO team with ad-hoc projects as needed

Skills, Experience and Requirements:

  • 3+ years of resource management, staffing, and/or workforce planning experience
  • Knowledge of staffing policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Able to structure and process qualitative and quantitative data and draw insightful conclusions
  • Results and action driven with the ability to bring groups to consensus through
  • Deep understanding of demand planning and financial modeling
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to summarize and distill key points and decisions for business leaders
  • Ability to prioritize workload at personal and organizational level
  • Highly organized and process oriented
  • Thinks and acts effectively under pressure
  • Seeks clarity where there is ambiguity
  • Proactively brings new ideas to the table, spanning people, process and product
