Job Opportunity: Human Resources Advisor

What you will do:

As a Human Resources Advisor, you will oversee the entire recruitment process, ensuring compliance with HR policies and practices. Additionally, you will support all HR activities, including recruitment, performance, Health and Safety, HR projects, and any other HR initiative, as well as facilitating the integration of new hires.

Responsibilities:

  1. Act as an advisor to managers, supporting them in achieving expected results on various HR matters.
  2. Manage the hiring process: advise and assist managers in planning, recruiting, selecting, hiring, transferring, and probationary periods.
  3. Oversee resource planning, providing advice to managers on recruitment campaigns, development of job descriptions/person specifications, job evaluations, and appropriate selection processes.
  4. Assist managers in the preparation of various selection tools (statement of qualifications, interview grids, pre-selection tests) and participate in recruitment when required.
  5. Welcome and integrate new employees, offering an experience based on best market practices.
  6. Provide advice and coaching to employees and managers to support personal development and performance issues.
  7. Manage the development and maintenance of HR compliance programs.
  8. Advise managers on the application of occupational health and safety frameworks and legislation, and act as HR representative on the H&S Committee.
  9. Perform administrative tasks in support of HR processes and activities.
  10. Support managers during annual performance appraisal periods.

To be successful in this position you will need:

- University degree or college diploma in a field related to human resources management, such as business administration or industrial relations.

- Minimum 2 (two) years' experience in an HR department as a generalist.

- Excellent knowledge of the MS Office suite.

- Solid understanding of confidentiality and HR processes.

- Bilingualism in French and English is essential.

- Interest in working in an Agile environment.
