About the Position

We are looking for a Specialist, Digital Media to join the Marketing Department in our Montréal office. Reporting to the Manager, Communications, the successful applicant will play a pivotal role in executing the firm’s content strategy across a broad spectrum of digital platforms, including social media, video, podcasts, intranet and the website. This role is pivotal in enhancing our online visibility through search engine optimization (SEO), maintaining the integrity of our website's content, and effectively utilizing social media to engage our audience. A proactive approach to content creation, deep analytics insight and strategic planning of social media campaigns, particularly on LinkedIn, are critical.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, and edit compelling content for a variety of digital media forms (social media posts, videos, podcasts, website content), ensuring alignment with the firm’s voice and branding.
  • Plan and coordinate social media campaigns, mainly on LinkedIn, to target specific audiences and achieve marketing objectives.
  • Stay abreast of digital media trends to adjust content strategy and enhance the firm's online presence.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on social media and website performance, offering insights for optimization.
  • Ensure website content is current, coherent and optimized for both search engines and user experiences, with a strong focus on keyword optimization to improve our Google rankings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to formulate a cohesive social media strategy that integrates with overall marketing goals.
  • Provide training and support to firm members on digital media best practices and strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a law firm or a professional services firm.
  • Fluent in both French and English, with strong writing and editing skills. *The position involves providing service to internal and external clients both in and outside Québec, hence verbal and written proficiency in both languages is required.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles, web analytics tools and social media platforms.
  • Strategic thinker with outstanding organizational and project management skills.
  • Effective communicator, capable of working collaboratively across teams and within all levels of the firm.
