My client, a tech start up that is growing quickly is seeking a seasoned Manager, HR Operations who will manage and lead multiple HR functions related to global payroll services, global benefits, and day-to-day interactions with their customers. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a natural self-starter, and be able to adapt to our ever-evolving software as we develop it to provide a best-in-class platform for our customers. This role will ensure all local regulatory and compliance procedures are performed correctly and accurately, as well as be responsible for planning, developing, and organizing new business procedures related to global payroll and benefits.

#Accurately execute multi-country payroll functions for all customers
● Independently resolve customer payroll and benefit related concerns as the needs arise
● Develop and maintain competency in the areas of international HR and international payroll
● Partner with other key stakeholders to design and maintain payroll processes across third-party payroll service providers
● Communicate across multiple departments to help maintain continuity in our customer experience
● Continuously evaluate payroll processes and systems for efficiency and scalability.
#5+ years in an HR or payroll role within a SaaS startup or the fintech industry
● Experience with multiple payroll platforms and international payroll experience a plus
● Deep expertise with employee onboarding and offboarding policies and procedures
● We're an early stage company and we love to collaborate in person 5 days a week in our Toronto HQ (downtown across from Union Station).
