Responsible for facilities operations (PMCRT and KDT) and contractual relationship management; Manages human resources, departmental planning, and oversees quality initiatives. manages the financial resources of the department.

in collaboration with FM-PRO Directors, consults client groups including Research Institute Leadership, Scientists, and RSS Leadership in their mandate and accountabilities in the provision of programs and services in Research Facilities Operations.
Ensurescollaboration with the above client groups and with the Directors of FM-PRO, specifically with the Director, Research Facilities Capital & Strategyto ensure that the goals/objectives of the programs and services requiring space and/or capital are supported and achieved consistent with UHN Strategic Priorities.
Responsible for the processes and procedures followed to successfully deliver facility operational services for UHN Research.
Extensive experience in medical research labs
Experience in the healthcare sector or the public sector, with knowledge of applicable legislative, UHN and/or departmental policies is highly desirable.
Outstanding management and complex cross-functional team work skills
Excellent change management, leadership and motivational skills
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication including report writing and presentation skills
Excellent organization and time management skills
Ability to work with diverse personalities in a professional and courteous manner and produce high quality work while meeting deadlines in accordance with UHN standards
