We are seeking an enthusiastic, salesperson with experience in manufacturing sales. A key member of the sales team, the Regional Sales Representative is accountable for delivering the assigned territory’s sales goals through the retention of the existing customer base, and the acquisition of new customers. He/she identifies, investigates, and develops sales growth opportunities and strategies with prospective customers and potential new markets. The Regional Sales Representative, maintains, and strengthens existing customer relationships as a key corporate representative for the Company.Summary of essential job functions:Account ManagementEstablishes and maintains effective customer relationships with key decision makersPromotes, sells, and secures purchase orders from existing and prospective customersDevelops and implements strategies for retention and growth opportunities with the company’s existing customer baseIdentifies and pursues opportunities with new customers and marketsExpedites resolution of customer problems and/or concernsWrites and presents quotations and proposalsProvides technical guidance and support in using Company productsTracks, monitors and manages accounts to ensure achievement of sales goalsReportingUpdates CRM with quotes and customer communicationReviews sales reports on a monthly basis and provides written feedback on key variances against budgetMinimum RequirementsPost-secondary diploma and/or degree in business or combination of post-secondary courses and work experience in salesMinimum of 5 years’ experience in existing or comparable manufacturing industries, and a minimum of 2 years in a sales role.Abilities RequiredDemonstrated aptitude for problem-solvingEngineering or strong technical understanding preferredExcellent professional written and verbal communication skillsEnergetic individual with a proven track record of accountability and resultsAbility to work well without supervisionProven ability to plan, manage and execute at the sales levelStrong time management, organizational and planning skillsAbility to travel extensively by airplane or vehicle as required.
