Payroll Analyst

Our client is looking for a Payroll Analyst to join their team. The successful Payroll Analyst will be responsible for processing hourly and salary payroll, reviewing and validating payroll for divisions, weekly timesheet management, WCB, providing support in the development of process documentation and process improvements, and assist with administering the benefits program. About the Role - Our client requires a collaborative and team oriented Payroll Analyst for a rewarding full time opportunity. As the successful Payroll Analyst you will have 3 years' of full-cycle payroll experience and 1+ year of US payroll experience, excellent communication and attention to detail, and ideally have experience from multinational organization
Payroll Administration
- Process payrolls for Canadian, U.S., and international employees accurately and on time, ensuring all required withholdings.
- Handle payroll tasks, including hires, terminations, transfers, adjustments, commissions, and bonuses.
- Manage time tracking, overtime, and leave records for accurate payroll processing.
- Reactivate employee accounts as needed.
Records and Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll files, including vacation and sick day records.
- Provide payroll updates and performance review notifications to department managers.
- Prepare and manage employment letters.
- Accrue bonus reports for payroll and monthly journal entries.
Benefits and Compliance
- Administer group benefits programs and communicate benefits-related information to employees.
- Collaborate on workplace health and safety by managing accident reporting and claims.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and compliance standards in all duties.
