The Director of Sales will be responsible for the sale of produce and the development of new business with high volume customers in retail grocery, restaurant/food service and wholesale produce distributors . The Director of Sales will own the entire sales process, representing the company and product, acting as a customer advocate while collaborating with farm operations, providing solutions for both the customer and internal team .
Responsible for managing all salesof Sensei producefrom our Leamington, Ontario facility.
Work with Sales and Marketing teams to develop effective retail strategies to drive profitable sales.
Work with the farm operations team to develop an accurate demand plan to meet the needs of the customers and ensure that all produce is sold.
Minimum of5years of demonstrated success in outside sales/business development in produce/perishables.

Must reside within the Province of Ontario, Canada, with Canadian perishable retail experience.
Proven experience selling to major grocery chains, food service, and wholesale brokers and distributors.
Working knowledge of syndicated data (SPINS/IRI, Nielsen)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Working knowledge of CRM (NetSuite, Salesforce,Hub Spot,Zoho)
Flexible, agile, and able to pivot as needed.
Deep interest in food and the produce industry.
