Our client in the public sector is looking for a contract based Senior QA specialist to work on their Salesforce CRM application.Location: Hybrid 2d - 3d/week TorontoDuration: 6 months + 6 months extResponsibilities:Design manual and automated testing processes, testing plans, and test cases for Salesforce CRM application.Perform the following types of tests manually and/or using test automation tools: system, functional, regression, integration, usabilityAssist business users to perform UATMaintain record of test discrepancies, using designated QA toolsCoordinate with other project managers, development managers, system administrators, architects, and DBA membersLead and develop functional, system, regression, load, integration, and performance test scenariosCollaborate with development team and business analysts to design and create test data required to drive test scenariosRun test execution for assigned projects, which includes monitoring of the test execution progress, defect resolution, issue managementAssess risk to quality based on results of verification and validation and making appropriate recommendationsImplement quality processes in support of the development and production change management processManage a full‐cycle process for recording test discrepancies and communicating those findings to the appropriate sourcesRequirements:5+ years in Quality Assurance of system implementations2+ years experience in Salesforce CRMStrong analytical skills and broad knowledge of the applications supportedDirect experience and knowledge of quality assurance for various applications, web platforms, reporting, and analyticsExpert knowledge of quality assurance methodology experience such as Continuous Integration and test-driven developmentProficiency with test automation tools and Test Management ToolsExperience using Jira for issue/defect tracking and resolution managementExcellent communication skills (written and oral) and problem‐solving ability
