• Consistent scheduling Your day-to-day: Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be responsible to lead and manage daily operations of the Fresh Foods Department, with a focus on sales, labour, and waste targets.
Other duties and tasks may include: • Interviewing and onboarding new team members
• Monitoring and evaluating team members performance including executing performance management conversations.
• Assisting in rolling out new policies and ensuring that team members are compliant.
• Motivating and inspiring team members and facilitating personal growth.
• Ensuring high levels of productivity are maintained.
• Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge.
• Participate in merchandising and promotional activities.
• Assist with inventory management.
• Ensure store conditions are consistently upheld to established standards. What you bring: • 3-5 years of management experience
• Experience in maintaining operational excellence in retail stores (payroll, shrink and inventory management, etc)
• A solid understanding of sales forecasts for establishing key targets for the department
• A strong work ethic and a 'can-do' attitude
