We are focused on our employees from the onset and believe them to be of the highest value of any of our assets.We are currently seeking a Safety Administrator with a great attitude who wants to join the Grace TeamPosition: Full-Time Safety AdministratorHours: Monday to Friday - 8:00 am to 4:30 pmRequirements:1-3 years of experience, preferably in the transportation industry Strong understanding of Hours-of-Service and knowledge of E-Logs preferred Familiar with Truck Mate software would be an asset Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, with excellent computer skillsAttention to detail and accuracy are a mustMust possess time management and organizational skillsPositive attitude and ability to work in a team environmentResponsibilities:Monitoring Hours-of-Service for the fleetProcess and audit driver logs for completeness and accuracyReview and follow up with all traffic tickets, warnings, convictions or accidentsAssist with DVIRs, CVORs, Drivers Abstracts and critical events Analyze and generate reports as requiredAssist with PIP and C-TPATOngoing review of safety policies, procedures and practicesAssist with customer-specific driver training, with both customer and driversAfter-hours calls for Hours-of-Service issues periodicallyAssist with the Drug & Alcohol programOther projects as required, completing all the above with the utmost integrity and confidentiality We offer:Competitive salary based on experience – paid weeklyCompany-paid Health and Dental benefits and Health Care Spending Account from day oneCompany-paid Retirement Plan and optional RRSP from day oneCompany-paid and Supplied Cell PhoneWe thank all applicants, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.Grace Transport is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to employment equity.We value a diverse workforce and are committed to hiring practices that are fair and equitable.
