About the job TSX-V listed investment issuer is building an in-house team to lead its minerals exploration programs on the corporations portfolios. We are seeking a a CEO to lead our mineral exploration projects and entities and to coordinate exploration programs and public company administration on the Corporation’s projects and spin out entitiites.
Responsible to plan, direct and supervise exploration and geological activities in a cost-effective, safe, environmentally and socially sound manner in coordination with the exploration team in the field. Must have strong capital markets experience and contacts within the investment and mineral exploration industry and past success in leading mineral exploration companies from early stage projects to mineral resource definition stage.
The individual will be part of the administrative and technical team, providing mining technical leadership and knowledge to the company in the following areas:
Manage the exploration programs through technical assistance, mentoring, technical leadership
Assist with and contribute to corporate development, capital raising, investor awarens s programs and strategy and public company reporting needs
Registered as a Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer in Quebec and fleunt in French
Strong and varied experience (large to small company and consulting) with more than 10 years in the industry, preferably including head office and field exploration roles
Strong analytical and communication skills, and demonstrated ability to write reports and
interact with peers and executive team
Sound understanding of early stage mineral exploration programs, capital raises, investor awareness programs and overall development of mineral exploration entities.
Experience with technical studies, project development and project start-up experience
Equally comfortable in the boardroom and at the exploration site
Entrepreneurial, flexible and creative
English/French required ideally experience working in North America and Africa.
CEO level experience preferred but senior geologist with mineral exploration expertise is our priority at present. Please send Application ASAP with available start date.
