How you'll make an impact

  1. Provide full HR support to industry-diverse clients that enhance business performance, support employee career wellbeing and ensure legislative compliance
  2. Provide consultation and coaching to clients on various HR matters including employment standards, HR best practices, team effectiveness, and talent development or the related discipline specialty
  3. Navigate complex policies, contracts, and legal mandates to assist clients in achieving organizational goals
  4. Provide administrative support to HR Consultants including maintenance of client information files and CRM software
  5. Collaborate with internal specialists and client representatives to provide high-quality service and support
  6. Recommend continuous improvements to HR programs and processes
  7. Develop and execute detailed project plans; liaise with project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
  8. Complete ad hoc projects and duties as required

About you

  • Post-secondary graduate from an accredited college or university degree or a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
  • CHRP certification or additional experience working with an HR team is preferred
  • Knowledge of the Ontario Employment Standards Act, Ontario Human Rights Code, and Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Knowledge of the Canada Labour Code and Labour Relations Act are considered strong assets
  • Ability to work in a professional, dynamic, highly-sensitive and team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional critical thinking with ability to identify optimal solutions for clients and mitigate possible risks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tool
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Occasional travel required
