The Product Strategy and Business Development Director, OfficePools, is accountable for e xpanding the paid pool options and taking the product to a global market . This role requires broad business leadership and technical and operational expertise to play a transformative role in OfficePools' growth and ongoing success. By analyzing historical users and new engagement strategies, you will create and identify opportunities, leading to the potential creation of additional pools, products, and acquisitions, enabling the OfficePools framework to grow.

You bring a passion for product and technology innovation, a willingness to explore new ideas, and a commitment to business outcomes. As the Product Director at OfficePools, you will be at the forefront of creating the Company’s product roadmap and technology vision.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing a cohesive product strategy aligned with the company's vision, goals, and market trends.
  • Leading the product roadmap planning process, prioritizing feature development based on market research, user feedback, and business objectives.
  • Identifying new product opportunities and innovative solutions to address evolving user needs and market demands.
  • Conducting market analysis and opportunity assessments to identify growth opportunities and emerging trends in target markets worldwide.
  • Driving strategic partnerships and alliances to expand the company's reach, drive user acquisition, and maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Negotiating and managing partnerships with key stakeholders, including potential investors, distribution channels, and technology partners.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align product development efforts with business objectives and ensure seamless execution of go-to-market strategies.
  • Championing the user experience by gathering feedback from customers and stakeholders, leveraging insights to inform product enhancements and usability improvements.
  • Developing and implementing strategies, includingpricing strategies, revenue streams, and monetization models, to drive revenue growth and effectively monetize the product.
  • Monitoring industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments to identify risks and opportunities and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Ensuring the transformation of product ideas from ideation into actionable concepts, timelines, and projects while maintaining a serious consideration of the financial implications, marketing needs, and overall business objectives.
  • Establishing and monitoring KPIs and budgets to assess product and team success.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record leading growth efforts in a consumer-facing technology-related organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is an asset.
  • Prior experience with and strong understanding of in-house, joint, offshore, etc. development models.
  • Ability to comprehend technical concepts as well as business needs.
  • Knowledge of intellectual property rights.
  • Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
  • Ability to evaluate the applicability of leading-edge technologies and use this information to influence future business strategies significantly.
  • Knowledge of technological trends to build a long-term technology strategy.
  • Understanding of budgets and business planning.
