Senior Social Media Manager
Our client is a marketing agency based in Toronto that specializes in Community Management, Content Strategy & Development, Influencer Marketing, Paid Media, Web Design & Development, SEO, Paid Search and more
At this agency, a Senior Social Media Manager will be responsible for client management of the biggest accounts within their portfolio, content development, social media calendars, reports, newsletters, and leading the growth of client accounts. This is an exciting position at a fast-moving agency that is focused on delivering best-in-class programs and being leaders in the digital space.
Has at least 4+ years of experience managing and growing social media accounts such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
Proven track-record of planning and managing media campaigns and clearly communicating progress and results
Experience with creating and writing content for social media in a B2C or B2B company
Has experience in social content ideation and the ability to recommend and implement organic growth strategies 
Demonstrated experience using data and KPI metrics to monitor and measure performance, measure effectiveness and plan ongoing improvements to campaigns
Expertise in measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of social media campaigns
Has experience with Hootsuite or similar social media management platform
Experience with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Suite, or other programs
Has experience with Mailchimp or similar email management platforms
Superior written and verbal communication
Experience or understanding of Influencer Marketing, Paid Advertising (Facebook and Google), Google Analytics, and SEO
Preferred: experience within an agency environment, or on the brand side
A post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field of study

Internal Management
Work cross-functionally with other team members to organize creative assets
Develop brand themes and hashtags that can be reused as a common thread across client profiles
Lead the development of social media calendars and content production for clients
Continuous social listening and monitoring of client accounts
Be a supportive mentor to the social department and contribute to ongoing team support
Reporting & Client Management
Develop standard monthly marketing reports
Support Account Managers in monthly review meetings as required
Participate in the upsell of services (where beneficial to the client)
Lead the development of new client accounts
Support setting up accounts within our software
A meticulous eye for detail across all campaign creative
Strategize and produce media by working alongside designers and other social media managers
Support coordination of photoshoot/video shoot with the Accounts team
Graduate of College or University
Proficient with social media platforms
A keen eye for design, and familiarity with software design tools
Excellent written/oral communication skills and email etiquette 
Excellent research and data assimilation
Vehicle and Drivers License 
Project Management experience
Agency or brand experience
WordPress skills
Email marketing skills
Photoshop skills
Google and/or Facebook ads certification
4 weeks vacation + extended holidays
