Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:  

  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with our vendors’ designated claims and returns representatives. 
  • Review all claims and returns and reconcile them with their appropriate credits. 
  • Contact the appropriate supplier representative regarding any issues with credits that are outstanding.
  • Maintain a record of all claims and returns submitted, returned/rejected, and paid.
  • Provide a weekly report to the Inventory Manager regarding claims status. 
  • Assist in other team projects and perform other duties as required. 
  • Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety Standards, as the company is committed to the protection and wellness of its employees. 

Job Requirements and Qualifications Include:  

  • Post-secondary education in Business or Office Administration is an asset. 
  • Knowledge of basic accounting practices and terms
  • Experience with return and claim processes is an asset. 
  • Experience with data entry, record keeping and computer operation. 
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and information.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to complete tasks in an accurate, timely and cost-effective manner. 
  • Creative approaches to attain new solutions to problems. 
  • Ability to develop solutions to complex problems with a strong eye for detail. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) 
  • Ability to work in an office environment with extended periods of time at the computer
