TalentWorld is recruiting a Operations Officer II in Toronto, Ontario for one of our clients.
Operations Officer II Responsibilities:
Generate regular reports on interest payment collections, outstanding balances, and trends for management review.
Triaging solicitor request for mortgage statements.
Coordinate with borrowers to set up payment schedules and methods, ensuring timely and complete payments.
Interact with partners, counter parties, and depositories to promptly resolve settlement-related inquiries, escalating issues to management as needed.
Ensure all documentation retained for audit purposes is organized, accessible, and filed according to department procedures and Wealth record retention policy.
Contribute to the completion of departmental customer service tasks in addition to primary functions.
Provide accurate and timely fails reporting to clients and partners as per established SLAs.
Escalate delays in reporting to management and partners when necessary.
Conduct quality investigations to maintain accuracy and timeliness standards, escalating issues appropriately.
Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changes in the working environment and requirements .
Must-Have Qualifications:
Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook for email communication and scheduling.
Ability to troubleshoot and navigate through various computer problems effectively.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accurate and efficient data entry tasks.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data entry and other tasks.
Prior experience in banking, financial institutions, or bookkeeping roles.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and clients.
Previous experience in a customer service role, providing assistance and support to clients or customers.
Dependable and reliable in fulfilling job responsibilities and commitments.
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
Previous experience or background in real estate industry processes, terminology, or transactions.
Individuals with a legal background or currently studying law, bringing a deeper understanding of legal concepts and documentation relevant to mortgage discharge processes.
Employment Details:
Salary: $22.41 an hour
Benefits: 18.75 Hours Weekly – Part-time (Hybrid model)
Training: First 4 months will be onsite
Duration: 8 months contract with possibility of extension
Schedule: Mon - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm.
Location: Mississauga, ON
