Job Title: Data Governance Analyst Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)Duration: 12+ MonthsRequired Skills:Folks extremely proficient in excel and data analysis (pivots, analyzing unfamiliar data and producing key observations)Proficient in creating PowerPoint presentations to present a problem statement with supporting metrics, along with proposed solutionsQuick learners, ability to be given high level direction and take the initiative to self-learn and educateKnowledge and Skills:Demonstrated ability to work with large data sets to proactively identify data issues and develop plan/timelines to correct those anomalies.Demonstrated ability and desire to meaningfully interpret data and draw out executive friendly insights for Senior StakeholdersAbility to work in a fast-moving and complex environment with proactive demeanor to pick-up complex and new topics and deliver on them.Proficient in MS PowerPoint and ExcelHighly motivated, strong attention to detail, team oriented, organized.Strong leadership skills and influencing capabilities.Excellent written, verbal and analytical skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills; strong presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with senior leaders.Ability to understand risk-reward, provide diplomatic challenge to stakeholders, and escalate issues when appropriate.Strong track record of effectively assessing and managing competing priorities to deliver high quality and timely work.Comfort navigating complex, highly-matrixed organizations.Comfortable acting as an agent for positive change with agility and flexibilityProcess mapping, consulting, audit skills are desirable.Financial services and Regulatory reporting experience is a Plus.US Financial Regulatory reporting process understanding is a plus.
