Develops, maintains and monitors data governance policies and procedures. Deploys technologies, ensures compliance with standards, and provides updates on policy changes. Ensures that data is secure, private, accurate, available and usable. Provides interpretation of enterprise data governance guidelines. Ensures data strategy and management practices are aligned in support of business objectives. Creates a culture where data is managed as a valuable corporate asset, adheres to the regulations around data compliance, and reduces overall risk.Role Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):data governance by actively promoting improved data governance practices, enforcing policy, and following data governance best practices.data in the systems through a collaborative process with members from various business units.maintains, periodically reviews and recommends changes to data governance policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.audits to ensure that policies, procedures and metrics are in place for maintaining/improving the program.the Data Governance policy with the overall goals of the business strategy.change in the organization to maximize the value of its data and plans for how the company will make those changes.is primarily on business/group within the bank; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus.specialized consulting, analytical and technical support.judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.independently and regularly handles non-routine situations.work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.Must-Have Skills:relevant experience (open to more junior data analysts looking to upskill and learn)Computer Science, or other related degreemanagementin MS Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Power Automate)BI experienceunderstanding of data applications (IT Asset management, ServiceNOW/CMDB) and how information flowsdocumentation skillsBanking experience nice to havedata analyst experience an assetFoundational level of proficiency:and data strategy.change.Intermediate level of proficiency:governance.standards and governance.integrity.quality.managementgovernance technology enablement.privacydata management.data management.& written communication skills& team skills.and problem solving skills.skills.driven decision making.Interview Process:Round - 45 Teams meeting with HM and possibly one-up HM.2nd round depending on 1st rounds.will consist of behavioral and getting to know you type questions.
