Our client is a driving force in the natural water and wastewater treatment industry, boasting over 900 successful installations to date. Specializing in disinfecting and treating contaminants without harmful chemicals, they cater to diverse needs in sectors such as drinking water, wastewater, groundwater, rainwater/reuse, and sanitation. Their modular and automated systems streamline operations, ensure compliance, and create a positive environmental impact.
Your Mission:
As an Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in boosting revenue by closing sales opportunities within a robust $20 million sales funnel. Collaborate with existing clients and partners, develop and execute account management strategies, and navigate longer sales cycles. Your mission involves addressing concerns from multiple stakeholders and closing deals that contribute significantly to the company's mission.
Key Criteria:
- Proven Sales Expertise: Minimum 3-5 years of experience, closing deals over $200,000, and earning $100,000+ annually in commissioned sales positions in both medium and long sales cycles.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with water and/or wastewater treatment and custom-engineered solutions.
- Client Focus: Exceptional interpersonal skills, adept at client service, and comfortable presenting in various settings.
- Initiative: Fast, independent learner who thrives with limited supervision.
Your Responsibilities:
- Deal Follow Through (40%): Maintain client relationships, address concerns, and keep the CRM up-to-date for accurate forecasting.
- Account Management (40%): Collaborate with key accounts and partners, identify opportunities for lead generation, and foster collaborative projects.
- Lead Generation (10%): Leverage project deliveries for new leads, coordinate site visits, attend tradeshows, and stay updated on market trends.
- Lead Qualification/Quoting (10%): Respond to inquiries, generate and present quotations, ensuring seamless communication with potential clients.
