To be successful in this role, you must possess an aptitude for selling with superior customer service abilities.Responsibilities:Focused on developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, ensuring customer expectations are meet and provide superior customer service Freight Focused B2B prospecting including cold calling from provided lists.Identify, qualify and build new business relationships with prospects.Build a strong communication network with customers through phone, prompt email follow up and in person visits.Assist customers with inquiries, information requests and provide ongoing support.Prepare worksheets for quoting.Maintain CRM database of clients, prospects, partners and vendorsRequirements:3+ years of sales and account management experience in 3PL Transportation and Freight brokerage is preferredKnowledge of freight brokerage processes for; LTL, FTL, Drayage and various types of commoditiesRecent college or university degree in Marketing or Business-related field is an assetExperience working B2B sales environmentStrong verbal, written, and presentation skills & strong interpersonal and customer relation skillsAbility to function independently with little or no supervision as well as function in a team environment and with other departmentsOff-site visits to customersBase Salary plus Commissions
