Communications Specialist Reporting to:
Director of Digital & Brand Strategy
We are looking for a dynamic and adaptable Communications Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in crafting compelling narratives, managing communication strategies, and leveraging AI tools to optimize content creation and audience engagement. This role requires creative thinking, strategic planning, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to enhance brand visibility and strengthen our public image. The Communications Specialist will also be responsible for writing copy for all platforms, ensuring adherence to the brand tone and voice across all communications. Bilingualism in French is considered an asset.
Communication Strategy and Planning
Support the development and execution of comprehensive communication strategies.
Conduct audience research to identify trends, communication preferences, and opportunities for outreach.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with company goals and branding efforts.
Analyze the performance of communication initiatives and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Utilize AI tools to enhance data-driven communication strategies and predictive audience engagement.
Content Creation and Management
B2B Content : Develop and manage engaging B2B communication materials, such as press releases, white papers, case studies, and presentations.
Write clear, compelling copy for websites, blogs, email campaigns, and other digital platforms, ensuring consistency with the brand's tone and voice.
Write and edit articles that resonate with the target audience, boost SEO, and drive traffic to digital platforms.
Visual Content : Present research findings and communication metrics in a clear and impactful way for stakeholders.
Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains consistency across platforms, with a strict focus on brand tone and voice.
Leverage AI tools to automate aspects of content creation and optimize messaging strategies.
Digital Communication and SEO/SEM Management
Manage and optimize digital communication channels, including website content, SEO, SEM, and email marketing.
Develop and implement strategies to improve search engine rankings and increase website traffic through SEO and SEM.
Monitor and analyze SEO and SEM performance, providing recommendations for ongoing optimization.
Use AI-driven tools to enhance personalized communication and streamline campaign management.
Stay current on digital communication trends, SEO/SEM best practices, and new marketing technologies.
Conduct research to understand audience needs, industry trends, and emerging communication technologies.
Analyze competitor communication strategies and offer insights for improvement.
Use AI tools to gather deeper insights and provide recommendations for optimizing communication efforts.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to align communication strategies with business objectives.
Provide communication support for internal teams and help maintain consistent messaging across departments.
Foster a collaborative environment to promote innovative communication solutions.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
~4-6 years of experience in communications, preferably in a cross-functional role.
~ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to craft engaging narratives across multiple platforms.
~ Proficiency with communication tools and platforms (e.CRM systems, email marketing tools, Google Analytics).
~ Experience with SEO, SEM, and digital communication strategies.
~ Knowledge of AI tools and their application in enhancing communication efforts.
~ Excellent project management and organizational skills.
~ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
~ Experience writing in and maintaining a consistent brand tone and voice.
~ Bilingualism in French is an asset.
Initiative : Proactively drive communication strategies and seek opportunities for improvement.
Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and communication alignment.
Analytical Thinking : Ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights for communication strategies.
