The Opportunity:

Procom is seeking a Content Marketing Specialist to join our in-house marketing team.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Content Marketing Specialist is tasked with creating compelling content that engages target audiences and supports Procom's marketing strategies. This role contributes to brand consistency across all platforms and supports department objectives by crafting customer facing content that resonates with clients and prospect - driving client engagement, lead generation, and brand visibility through strategic content initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:


Researches, writes, and edits high quality digital customer facing content to support demand generation, new product introductions, sales, and product marketing with a focus on US/Canadian market and growth.
Develops our brand voice and refines our marketing messaging to ensure brand consistency and customer clarity.
Leverages AI tools to produce content that increases brand visibility and drives engagement, with a target of increasing organic search traffic and improving lead generation quarter over quarter.
Writes short and long form articles, social captions, headlines, banner copy, website copy to build a strong brand present and secure our position as the IT recruitment partner of choice.
Leads brainstorming and interviewing sessions and be able to synthesize results into market facing though leadership content which is consistent with our new branding and editorial guidelines. Can edit existing content to ensure consistency in content and alignment with new brand messaging.
Creates copy for high value assets which can be leveraged in email campaigns, develop web copy which are SEO optimized and can help drive leads, create thought provoking social media posts which can be leveraged across digital platforms, compelling ad copy, and more.
Collaborates with teams including sales, product leads, marketing and customer experience, and contributes expertise during team meetings. Deliver high quality work products by ensuring content is proofread and error free.
Supports cross-functional teams to ensure content aligns with business priorities, contributing to a cohesive brand strategy that strengthens Procom’s market positioning and sales enablement improving the Sales usage of marketing-generated collateral quarter-over-quarter.
Executes, monitors, and compiles performance data for marketing campaigns to assist managers in analysis and reporting.
Supports in coordinating activities and managing day-to-day interactions with vendors and agencies to ensure alignment with project objectives under managerial guidance.


Job Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in content creation, writing, and editing, particularly in a digital marketing environment.
Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field is required.
Certifications or additional training in digital marketing, SEO, content marketing, or related areas are highly desirable.
Proven record of developing and implementing content strategies that have successfully increased engagement and achieved marketing objectives
Demonstrable experience using AI tools for improving workflow and content impact
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to produce clear, compelling, and grammatically correct content across various platforms.
Proficiency in SEO and its application in content creation to enhance visibility and engagement.
Drive measurable results through content strategy, such as increasing engagement, lead generation, or brand visibility.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop content that supports business objectives and marketing goals.
Strong research skills to ensure content is accurate, timely, and relevant.
Tech savvy, with the ability to use modern content creation, collaboration, and management tools effectively.
Desirable Skills:

Experience in digital marketing management, including creating copy for websites, social media platforms, emails, and ad campaigns.
Demonstrated ability to use ChatGPT or comparable AI tools across tasks throughout the content creation process.
Ability to conceive strong copy ideas that align strategically with project briefs and market trends.
Experience with content management systems (CMS) and understanding of content workflow processes.
Nimble learning ability to quickly adapt to changing messaging needs and platforms.
Action-oriented approach to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality content.
Experience executing and monitoring marketing campaigns and compiling performance data for analysis and reporting.
Experience with marketing tools such HubSpot, Google Analytics, SEM Rush, etc. would be an asset.
French bilingualism would be considered a significant asset.
