The Role:

We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Internal Medicine Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion providing excellent patient care, a strong background in diagnosing and managing a wide range of complex internal conditions, and the ability to work within a collaborative practice environment.

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive care to adult patients with a wide range of internal diseases and conditions.

Diagnose and manage complex acute and chronic illnesses, including those affecting multiple systems.

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and ordering/interpreting diagnostic tests.

Develop individualized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and adjust therapies accordingly.

Provide preventative healthcare counseling, including guidance on lifestyle modifications.

Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge in internal medicine through continuing education and professional development activities.

Requirements:

Medical degree from an accredited institution

A valid license to practice medicine from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)

Certification in Internal Medicine by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC)

Strong clinical skills and knowledge in the broad field of internal medicine

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an empathetic approach to patient care

Previous experience as in independent practitioner is a strong asset
