Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Internal Medicine Specialist to join our growing team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive care to adult patients with a wide range of internal diseases and conditions.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and ordering/interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and adjust therapies accordingly.
- Provide preventative healthcare counseling, including guidance on lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge in internal medicine through continuing education and professional development activities.
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- A valid license to practice medicine from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
- Certification in Internal Medicine by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC)
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge in the broad field of internal medicine
- Previous experience as an independent practitioner is a strong asset
