Potter + Moore Innovations Ltd is the key trading company based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire and focuses on the design, manufacture and distribution of product in its three key operating functions; Brands (owned and licenced), Private Label Supply and Contract Manufacturing.
The company’s customer base ranges from key multiple drugstore, grocery and fashion retailers to premium brands and is supplied throughout the UK from Poundland to Harrods and growing international markets, currently 30 countries worldwide. We have also recently started a relationship with the NHS in the UK for supply of Hand Sanitants.
The company has a reputation for exceptional customer service and consistently leads the way forward in product / brand development and manufacturing - resulting in Creightons Plc not only leading the way but also setting standards.
Ranging in format and market position within several key health + beauty categories including; personal bath, shower and bodycare, haircare, male grooming, skincare, fine fragrance and baby + maternity. A company acquisition in 2016 also extended the companies capabilities into home fragrance formats; candles, reed diffusers and room fragrances. Most recently the Coronavirus pandemic has meant we have significantly changed gear into the Sanitants market.
Job Title: Business Development Executive
Location: Office based. We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join the Private Label team. Working alongside the Business Development Managers, this is a fantastic time for someone friendly and driven to join the team as we continue to grow and develop with our customers whilst providing excellent customer service.
Assist in the management of the account interface with the customer teams including Buyers, Technical, Product Managers and Supply Chain.
Work with the customer to identify new product opportunities and develop their brand
Prepare, negotiate and manage pricing with customers to include product cost engineering where required
Work alongside the Product Manager and ensure a comprehensive and timely handover on all NPD projects
Work alongside the Business Development Manager to manage product commercially through its lifecycle. Manage customer briefs/tenders. Manage forecast and demand whilst tracking against the budget
Manage availability and shortage issues
Track adherence to sales budget, reporting to the business shortfalls/gains
Passionate about the Health & Beauty market and products
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Evidence of successful relationship building within key retail/brand accounts
Evidence of driving and managing key multiple retail/brand accounts
