The Account Executive will work closely with senior management to develop strategic plans to maximize revenue and profitability in a defined market area.Primary Responsibilities:Actively prospecting for new accounts.Logging and reporting all sales activities in the corporate CRM software to enable accurate and reliable sales forecasting.Gathering market data within your territory regarding key accounts, competitors, pricing and other economic factors and reporting back to management.Using predefined criteria, determine if a particular account or opportunity is a good fit for PJS Systems.Working with clients to define project requirements and communicating those requirements to our design team.Preparing professional, written proposals of the highest quality for presentation to clients.Making sales presentations directly to clients either in-person or via video conferencing.Negotiate contracts with clients that are consistent with the written policies of PJS Systems.Generate referrals from clients through disciplined follow ups after project completion as well as through a network of business contacts and social media.Accountability:The Account Executive will report to the Vice President. Secondary accountability will be to the other management team members, fellow team members and clients of the company.Travel:RegionalAdditional Skills and Abilities:Must be responsible, self-motivated, personable, well-organized and professional in appearance.Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work with diverse groupsProficiency in the use of Office 365, CRM and ERP SoftwareAbility to demonstrate planning, organizing, and implementing skillsMust be able to effectively handle stressful situations.Must be able to read and effectively interpret general business documentation.At times, work will be required outside of standard business hours in order to meet deadlines or attend business functions.Compensation: Base + Commission; On Target Earnings of $140K++Benefits:Company eventsDental careDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programExtended health careLife insurancePaid time offVision careSchedule:8.5 hour shiftMonday to FridayExperience:Audiovisual industry experience STRONGLY preferred B2B sales: 5 years (required)Licence/Certification:Driving Licence and Vehicle (required)
