Tridon Communications is currently seeking a HR Business Partner with experience in the Telecommunications, Oil and Gas industries, on a 16 month contract based at our Edmonton Head Office.
The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for providing support to the Vice President of Human Resources with a primary focus on executing the Human Resources function within the organization. They will be the primary touch point for their assigned portfolio for all HR activities as well as focused on solidifying and executing HR best practices for the organization. A true generalist they will act as a catch all for all HR assignments and support all departments within the Organization; focusing on attraction and retention, recruitment, onboarding, Employee relations, performance management, best practices as well as project implementation, compensation, benefits, and other HR related administrative duties and special projects.
Recruitment Primary: Full cycle recruitment; Develop and execute an overall hiring strategy with the assistance of the VP HR and based on business needs
Performance management: assist with roll out and management of performance reviews
HR reporting and data analysis; HR Modernization and UKG Pro project implementation
Policy development and deployment
Provide on-going support to HR Leadership and HR department as required
Complete special projects as assigned
Diploma or Degree with a focus in Human Resources is required
~ Certified Human Resources Professional designation considered an asset
~5 + years of experience in related HR Generalist Roles
~ Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and computer databases
~ The HR Business Partner must be able to spend 90% of the day sitting, and 10% walking/standing. The incumbent will be also required to look at a computer screen for long periods of time. There is a possibility of eye and/or joint strain related to operating computer equipment.
Tridon Communications is a full solution Telecom Systems Integrator with CSA certification and licensed by APEGA. Our Engineering, Radio Communications, Data Communications, Security, Mobility, and Tower Divisions collaborate with customers to build custom solutions for their wireless communication needs. We have been supplying wireless communication products and services to Alberta industry since 1981. We operate seven service shops in Fort McMurray, Edmonton, Edson, Hinton, Calgary, Saskatoon & Terrace British Columbia.
