Forge Recruitment is currently partnered with our client in the search of a Junior Civil Litigation Law Clerk to join their growing Litigation Practice Group. The firm, located in the heart of downtown Toronto seeks a skilled, dynamic, and client-centric professional to join their truly progressive environment.
Supporting the professionals in the Civil Litigation Practice Group, the Law Clerk will:
Preparation of pleadings and other legal documents with some direction, often from precedents, in accordance with the Rules of the Small Claims Court, Rules of Civil Procedureand Construction Lien Act
As the ideal candidate, you possess 2+ years of experience in a civil litigation practice, gained within a law firm environment. You possess strong knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure, strong technical and technological skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills. You have successfully completed a legal designation from an accredited institution.
