The purpose of this position is to assist with the following research tasks focusing on developing decision-support simulation tools for mobile-robotic warehouse automation:
Research literature review on mobile-robotic warehouse automation (e.g., Support in upgrading and improving existing decision-support simulation tools (with Java platform);
Case study research including data analysis, technical program summaries, and strategy design; Technical report and manuscript editing and formatting, assistant in conference papers and technical reports.
Applications are required to have engineering background with a preference for logistics, supply chain, transportation, software, computer science, mathematics or related discipline, and have:
~ Interests in big data processing and robotic systems;
~ Proficient skills in Java programming languages;
~ Work remote and complete tasks in a timely manner; 1) course learning or project experience in warehouse and logistics areas
~(2) Java project development
~(Paid bi-weekly.
