With a rich heritage and unwavering commitment to quality, we proudly produce our renowned confections in the Canada’s Chocolate Town, St. The Food Science Technologist will lead the development of new products and improve existing products and processes by applying contemporary scientific technology. The Technologist will also lead and maintain the Scientific Research & Experimental Development Program (SR&ED) and conduct internal audits of food safety and quality systems.

Proficiency in food and labeling regulations, process analysis, and manufacturing improvements is essential. Additionally, they will foster a positive work environment, provide support to the Operations team, and evaluate and improve manufacturing processes with a focus on lean manufacturing.

Diploma or Degree in Food Science or related field required.
~2-3 years of Food Research and Development or Quality experience in a food manufacturing environment would be considered an asset.
~ Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes.
~ Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
~ Excellent problem-solving skills, technical knowledge, and interpersonal skills.
~ Strong project and time management skills.
