The Role

As the Food Innovation Scientist at Ganong, you will be instrumental in driving the company's strategic growth through innovative product development. The ideal candidate for this dynamic role will excel in trend analysis and research. The Food Innovation Scientist is a strong communicator who enjoys collaborating with various departments and has a robust background in chocolate and confectionery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in food product development, focusing on innovation and trend analysis.
  • Strong understanding of food chemistry, microbiology, and sensory science.
  • Experience with market research and consumer insights.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for exploring new ideas and trends.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
