Project Administrator

What will you do?
- Assist project managers in the administrative activities required to execute project orders.
- Provide overall administrative support to project managers.
- Assist project managers in producing financial reporting to management.
- Work closely with other SE departments and act as a facilitator to insure smooth project execution.
- Use SE tools (Ex; Buy Automation) to provide material pricing to project managers
- Enter orders in our ERP system (SAP) and make required changes.
- Run spreadsheet s/w (ex. to calculate Project Budget).
- Track Order changes (material, labor and expenses) on projects.
- Track material returns on projects.
- Coordinate with appropriate department to expedite material.
- Coordinate with appropriate department to perform invoicing and prepare back-up material.
- Assist with project scheduling.
- Communicate directly with customers as required.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Technical or administrative college diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of experience in an administrative / coordination role.
- General knowledge of automation products and internal administration of projects in Schneider Electric (asset).
- Must have both good Customer and Communication skills.
- For Quebec-based candidates, functional knowledge of English and French is required. Must be able to work with stakeholders located in Quebec, other Canadian provinces and internationally.
