Position Summary
The Project and Process Manager is a key management position at The Lavin Agency. Your primary purpose will be to continuously improve the company's project management, internal systems and processes. You will be the leader in your area of responsibility working collaboratively with the company’s management team and key stakeholders. You will complete a needs assessment identifying gaps in the organization’s procedures and processes. You will make recommendations and oversee the implementation of an ERP platform that integrates finance, CRM, contract management and other business functions. You will develop and execute a project management plan aimed at improving company operations. insights and procedures. You will help shape the future project, processes and procedures of the company to help improve overall performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Build and develop the stakeholder team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation
- Support Sales and Marketing on recurring activities
- Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget
- Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met
- Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
- Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks
- Structure and manage integrated, multitrack performance databases for company projects
- Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources as required
- Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables
- Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan
Qualifications
- Three or more years of project and process management experience
- You have programming experience and knowledge
- You have overseen ERP/CRM implementations
- Experience in developing technologies and platforms for maximum usability
- Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
- Proven success fostering a team approach working with all levels of management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 is an asset
- Experience in developing platforms for internal processes
- Experience in coaching project team members to strengthen their abilities and skill sets
