Proven Experience: Showcase your hands-on experience working with students with special education needs across various age groups, preferably within a school environment.


Showcase your in-depth understanding of positive behaviour supports, including proficiency in Applied Behaviour Analysis strategies. Illustrate your proven ability to handle classroom management and emergency situations with poise, Your quick and appropriate actions based on established board policies and procedures make you a reliable asset.

~ Highlight your proven track record of following policies and procedures in an appropriate and timely manner. Skills, Qualifications and Education Requirements

~ Education Expertise: Graduate of a College of Applied Arts & Technology in Educational Assistant - Special Needs Support (preferred), Autism Behavioural Sciences, Child and Youth Worker, or possess equivalent post-secondary training.


~ Valuable Experience: Previous experience in an Educational Assistant role within diverse classroom settings is a notable asset, demonstrating your ability to navigate various educational environments.


~ Mobility and Dedication: Access to reliable transportation, coupled with your enthusiasm to work in multiple DSBN school locations throughout the Niagara region.
