As a Head of HR Corporate Functions, you play a critical role in aligning human resources strategies with the overall business objectives of the organization. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and an in-depth understanding of HR practices.
The Head of HR Corporate Functions collaborates closely with business leaders, providing guidance on various HR matters to foster a positive work environment, employee engagement, and operational success.
Partner with business leaders to understand their objectives and align HR strategies to support organizational goals.
Act as a consultant to management, offering insights on workforce planning, talent development, and employee relations.
Provide guidance on conflict resolution, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
Collaborate with leadership to identify talent gaps and implement strategies for recruitment, retention, and succession planning.
Support employee development through training initiatives and performance management processes.
Implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices.
Provide guidance on policy interpretation and application to employees and managers.
Support the performance management process, providing coaching to managers on setting goals, conducting evaluations, and addressing performance issues.
Analyze performance data to identify trends and recommend improvement strategies.
Assist in organizational change initiatives, providing guidance on communication, training, and employee engagement during periods of transition.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Long standing experience as HR Business Partner for corporate functions or a similar strategic HR role.
Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment law, and industry best practices.
CHRL or SHRM is an asset
Exceptional communication skill to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to employee groups, and management at all levels of the company
Advanced knowledge of MS Office is required.
Travel will be required (30%+) and will include international travel
Valid Driver's license and valid passport is a must
