Overview

Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Social Media & Communications Coordinator will be supporting the Marketing team with content creation & development, copywriting, and communications. The candidate participates in creating promotional and informational content for product launch, web, social media, emails as well as consumer tools. The person must be creative, highly organized, a motivated team player with excellent communication skills , who thrives on autonomy and enjoys working in a dynamic environment .

Responsibilities

  • Participates in creating Marketing campaign, promotional and informational content for product launch, web, social media, emails as well as consumer tools .
  • Participates in the creation/ update of the Marketing Calendar.
  • Understand communication strategies for all brands and help develop new campaign ideas for giveaways, stories and posts for all brands.
  • Create social media content for all brands and manage the social media posting schedules.
  • Maintain the Facebook store for all brands and include the right pricing and all new items.
  • Create and maintain social media protocols and processes, including community guidelines and editorial tone.
  • Coordinate influencer campaigns through Grin influencer platform and help manage influencer sample requests.
  • Help in developing content for blog posts, newsletters, banners, and any other communications projects.
  • Stay up to date with new social media initiatives and opportunities and analyze new opportunities for all brands.
  • Understand and help analyze social media analytics and reporting on campaign performance.
  • Assists the Communications Director on different projects: coordinates logistics involved in product launches and/ or event, general help in various projects, contributes to the generating of communications ideas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications or marketing
  • Self-motivated, creative, highly organized
  • Autonomous, sense of initiative and solution-oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
  • Great sense of organization and prioritization, ability to manage several projects and work under pressure.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.
  • Discipline, thoroughness and attention to details.
  • Great interpersonal skills, team worker with various types of personality, great ability to adapt to change.
  • Facility with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Photoshop and InDesign a plus.
