THE ROLEReporting to the Manager, HRBP Northern Operations this role is a strategic partner that provides guidance and support to managers and employees. The successful candidate will draw on experience, knowledge, and sound judgement to address employee relations and labour relations matters and will also be able to align People and Culture initiatives with business objectives to drive organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.RESPONSIBILITIESThis position is primarily responsible for the following:Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders by providing guidance, recommendations and/or coaching for performance management, employee relations, labour relations, and conflict resolution matters.Partner with the Manager, HRBP Northern Operations as well as the operational management team to develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs that promote a positive work culture and compliance with employment laws.Lead and/or participate om People and Culture initiatives to driver employee engagement and retention, talent management, diversity and inclusion, succession planning, and performance management.Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate actions to address employee relations issues and ensure a respectful and inclusive work environment.Create relevant documentation as needed.Respond to grievances as needed.Participate in and/or be able to lead collective bargaining negotiations.Analyze metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and drive data-driven decision-making.Stay up-to-date on industry trends, relevant employment law and best practices to proactively recommend innovative solutions to enhance organizational effectiveness.Handle all relevant matters with sensitivity and confidentiality to ensure discretion and integrity.THE IDEAL CANDIDATEMinimum of 5 years of relevant Human Resources experience with at least 2 years in a business partner or similar role or equivalent experience.Labour Relations experience is an asset.Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in English and French.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships throughout all levels of the Company.Proven ability to influence and drive change.Very strong judgement, analytical and problem-solving skills.Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related post-secondary equivalent; related professional certification is an assetWorking Conditions:This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.Some travel will be required as this position needs to have a presence at Quebec locations as not all employees have access to email. Il sera egalement en mesure d'aligner les initiatives relatives aux personnes et a la culture sur les objectifs de l'entreprise afin de favoriser l'efficacite de l'organisation et l'engagement des employes.RESPONSABILITES:Le titulaire de ce poste est principalement charge des taches suivantes :Agir en tant que conseiller strategique aupres des chefs d'entreprise en leur fournissant des conseils, des recommandations et/ou un encadrement en matiere de gestion du rendement, de relations avec les employes, de relations de travail et de resolution des conflits.Travailler en partenariat avec le gestionnaire, HRBP Northern Operations, ainsi qu'avec l'equipe de gestion operationnelle pour elaborer et mettre en oeuvre des politiques, des procedures et des programmes qui favorisent une culture de travail positive et la conformite avec les lois sur l'emploi.Diriger et/ou participer a des initiatives relatives aux personnes et a la culture afin de stimuler l'engagement et la fidelisation des employes, la gestion des talents, la diversite et l'inclusion, la planification de la releve et la gestion des performances.Mener des enquetes et recommander des actions appropriees pour resoudre les problemes de relations avec les employes et garantir un environnement de travail respectueux et inclusif.Creer des documents pertinents, le cas echeant.Repondre aux griefs, le cas echeant.Participer aux negociations collectives et/ou etre en mesure de les mener.Analyser les mesures et les tendances afin d'identifier les domaines d'amelioration et de prendre des decisions fondees sur des donnees.Se tenir au courant des tendances du secteur, du droit du travail et des meilleures pratiques afin de recommander de maniere proactive des solutions innovantes pour ameliorer l'efficacite de l'organisation.Traiter toutes les questions pertinentes avec sensibilite et confidentialite afin de garantir la discretion et l'integrite.LE CANDIDAT IDEAL:Baccalaureat en ressources humaines ou equivalent postsecondaire connexe ; SHRM/CPHR ou autre certification professionnelle connexe est un atout.Minimum de 5 a 7 ans d'experience pertinente en ressources humaines.Solide connaissance de toutes les disciplines des RH, y compris la gestion du rendement, les relations avec les employes/travailleurs, l'engagement des employes, la gestion des talents et la remuneration.Competences averees en matiere de leadership, d'encadrement et d'influence a tous les niveaux et dans toutes les fonctions.Vous avez une vision globale et une approche innovante et creative.Solides competences en matiere de consultation, d'influence et de negociationCapacite a gerer l'ambiguite et a trouver des solutions creatives.Capacite de reflexion analytique et de resolution de problemesCollaborateur, proactif et oriente vers les resultatsExcellentes competences en communication, a l'oral comme a l'ecritMaitrise avancee de la suite Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Experience de travail dans un environnement syndiqueCompetences exceptionnelles en matiere de service a la clienteleMaitrise du francais (ecrit et parle) requise.LE CANDIDAT IDEAL :Au moins 5 ans d'experience pertinente dans le domaine des ressources humaines, dont au moins 2 ans en tant que partenaire commercial ou dans une fonction similaire, ou une experience equivalente.Une experience dans le domaine des relations du travail est un atout.Solide connaissance de la legislation et de la reglementation en matiere d'emploi.Excellentes aptitudes a la communication orale et ecrite.Excellentes competences interpersonnelles, avec la capacite d'etablir des relations solides a tous les niveaux de l'entreprise.Capacite averee a influencer et a conduire le changement.Tres bonnes capacites de jugement, d'analyse et de resolution de problemes.Licence en ressources humaines ou equivalent post-secondaire ; une certification professionnelle en la matiere est un atout.CONDITIONS DE TRAVAIL :Ce poste peut faire l'objet d'un horaire de travail hybride.Certains deplacements seront necessaires car ce poste doit etre present sur les sites du Quebec, les employes n'ayant pas tous acces au courrier electronique.
