About the role:
P&C is currently recruiting for a Social Media Coordinator for our sister creative agency, Bonus Track. The right candidate is lifestyle, sports and social media-obsessed, with a finger on the pulse of what is trending. They are a natural content creator who is able to plan, produce and appear in short-form video content for all social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn and more. They will have excellent writing skills and be comfortable leading community management efforts for accounts across multiple industries. A strong interest in sports and pop culture is a MUST, as is an engaging personality that shines through content.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with our Creative + Content division to strategize and create content for social media accounts.
- Craft engaging, on-brand captions that capture the voice and tone of each client, ensuring they resonate with target audiences and align with overall content strategies.
- Act as the face of various brands, confidently creating and appearing in social media videos.
- Contribute to ideation and planning for social feeds, including selecting relevant channels and tailoring communications and content.
- Leverage best practices for social and digital channels to bring forward new content ideas and test & learn opportunities for platforms including but not limited to LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.
- Coordinate and plan content shoots, including scheduling, location scouting, shot lists, and ensuring alignment with creative briefs and client objectives.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and video editing is a plus.
- Write compelling captions and scripts for content, using your strong storytelling skills to engage audiences.
- Create on-trend, short-form video content that aligns with client goals.
- Respond to comments on behalf of clients, engage in active social listening, and escalate risks as needed.
- Manage relationships with internal and external content creators, ensuring smooth content briefs, deliverables, and distribution.
- Contribute to deck creation, monthly content proposals, and ongoing & wrap-up reports.
- Track hours and expenses accurately.
About you :
- You have 1-2 years of experience in Content Creation, Digital Media, Social Media Coordination, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- You’re adaptable and can manage the social media accounts for industries like sports, food & beverage, hospitality, fashion, corporate, and more.
- You live and breathe content creation, with a focus on short-form video and on-trend, timely social media posts.
- Proven experience or interest in growing and building audiences through content marketing, social media strategy, and outreach.
- You have strong social media graphic design abilities, with experience using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
- Your copywriting and caption-writing skills are top-notch, with a strong attention to detail, grammar, and editing.
- You thrive in a collaborative working environment.
- Experience with social media monitoring, reporting, and planning tools (Sprout Social, Later, Meltwater, Hootsuite, etc.) is a bonus.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills are a must. You can juggle multiple priorities and balance deadlines across clients with ease.
