Our peanut-free and kosher kitchen undergoes regular quality control to maintain top-tier food quality standards. Join our team We're hiring a Kitchen Supervisor at Galerie au Chocolat. You'll lead 20-30 chocolatiers, keep our kitchen running smoothly, manage labour efficiency, track ingredients and lot numbers, and help implement better processes. Day shift (6:30–3:30), full-time, with occasional seasonal OT. We're looking for someone who leads with confidence, stays calm under pressure, and knows how to bring out the best in a team. Applicants must have a valid Canadian S.I.N. and must be located in the Montreal or Greater Montreal Area. Lead and supervise a team of chocolatiers across multiple concurrent production projects. Plan and assign labour to maximize efficiency and minimize ingredient waste and labour hours. Maintain complete information control for each project Conduct labour studies to measure time spent per project and identify efficiency opportunities Enforce food safety, GMPs, allergen control, hygiene, and traceability standards. Coach staff, ensure proper setup and cleanup, and maintain consistent production quality. Implement process changes and guide teams through transitions. Participate in daily production huddles. Identify inefficiencies, propose improvements, and support SOP development and reinforcement. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Qualifications 2–5 years of team supervision experience, ideally in food manufacturing or production. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to coach, redirect, and manage large teams in a fair and structured manner. Comfortable standing for long periods. Experience with continuous improvement, labour efficiency analysis, or process implementation (an asset). Strong comfort with numbers, documentation accuracy, and traceability. Joignez-vous à notre équipe Nous recrutons un Superviseur de Cuisine chez Galerie au Chocolat. Vous dirigerez une équipe de 20 à 30 chocolatiers, assurerez le bon fonctionnement de la cuisine, gérerez l'efficacité de la main-d'œuvre, suivrez les ingrédients et les numéros de lot, et contribuerez à l'amélioration continue de nos processus. Quart de jour (6 h 30 à 15 h 30), temps plein, avec occasionnellement du temps supplémentaire en période de pointe. Nous recherchons quelqu'un qui dirige avec assurance, reste calme sous pression et sait tirer le meilleur d'une équipe. Les candidat(e)s doivent avoir un NAS canadien valide et être situés à Montréal ou dans la grande région de Montréal. Responsabilités Diriger et superviser une équipe de chocolatiers sur plusieurs projets de production simultanés. Planifier et attribuer la main-d'œuvre afin de maximiser l'efficacité et de réduire le gaspillage d'ingrédients ainsi que les heures de travail. Maintenir un contrôle complet de l'information pour chaque projet. Effectuer des analyses de main-d'œuvre pour mesurer le temps passé par projet et identifier des opportunités d'efficacité. Faire respecter les normes de salubrité alimentaire, BPF, contrôle des allergènes, hygiène et traçabilité. Encadrer le personnel, assurer une mise en place adéquate ainsi qu'un nettoyage rigoureux, et maintenir une qualité de production constante. Mettre en œuvre des changements de processus et accompagner les équipes lors des transitions. Participer aux réunions quotidiennes de production. Identifier les inefficacités, proposer des améliorations et soutenir le développement ainsi que l'application des SOP. Maintenir un environnement de travail propre, organisé et sécuritaire. Qualifications 2 à 5 ans d'expérience en supervision d'équipe, idéalement en fabrication alimentaire ou en production. Solides compétences en leadership, communication, organisation et résolution de problèmes. Capacité à encadrer, recadrer et gérer de grandes équipes de manière équitable et structurée. À l'aise de travailler debout pendant de longues périodes. Expérience en amélioration continue, analyse de l'efficacité de la main-d'œuvre ou implantation de processus (un atout). Aisance avec les chiffres, précision documentaire et traçabilité. Bilinguisme anglais/français requis.
