**Job Title:** Chiropodist/Podiatrist – Chief Medical Officer

**Position Overview:**

We are looking for a Unicorn: a clinician who loves Social Media and also is passionate about working in their profession.

More specifically we are seeking a passionate and skilled Chiropodist or Podiatrist and social media personality to join our dynamic team as Medical Director. As a key member of our senior leadership team you will help guide the organization into the future.

You will play a vital role in leading our team in creating educational media content including TikToks, Blogs, Instagram videos and posts (the creative and exciting part of the job) as well as providing comprehensive foot care services to our clients, fostering a culture of wellness, and driving innovation in the field of podiatric medicine (the serious clinical part of the job).

**Responsibilities:**

- Develop, produce and “Star” in exciting and fun social media content on the topics of foot health and wellness.

- Develop, and curate our library of clinical tools, blogs and newsletters for our clients on the topics of foot health and wellness.

- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients' foot health, including medical history review, examinations, and diagnostic testing.

- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to clients' needs and goals, incorporating a range of interventions such as orthotic therapy and biomechanical analysis.

- Administer treatments and procedures in accordance with professional standards and regulatory guidelines, ensuring safety and efficacy at all times.

- Educate clients on preventive foot care strategies, lifestyle modifications, and proper footwear selection to promote long-term health and mobility.

- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in podiatric medicine, attending conferences, workshops, and continuing education courses to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.

- Contribute to the growth and success of the organization through active participation in marketing initiatives, community outreach programs, and quality improvement initiatives.

**Qualifications:**

- Licensed Chiropodist (D.Ch.) or Podiatrist (D.P.M.) in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario or the College of Chiropodists of Ontario.

-Passion for creating fun and exciting educational videos and posts for Social media (send us some of your stuff).

-Experience with creating educational content for Social media and digital platforms.

- Strong public speaker and communicator.

- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a podiatric setting, with expertise in biomechanics, bracings and orthotics preferred.

- Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills, with the ability to assess and treat a diverse range of foot and lower limb conditions.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate bedside manner and the ability to build rapport with clients of all ages and backgrounds.

- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and professionalism.

- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice, with a passion for advancing the field of podiatric medicine and improving patient outcomes.
