Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid public relations account executive role located in Montreal with possible flexible options and remote work. The Public Relations Account Executive will be responsible for day-to-day management of client accounts, media relations, developing and executing communications plans, creating and editing content.

The PR Account Executive will play a major role in the success of the agency, both internally - as a team member - and externally - by conveying an excellent image of the agency.

Roles and Responsibilities of the position 

Client Management 

  • Manage day-to-day communications with clients and ensure that all deadlines are met
  • Be the point of contact for certain clients and maintain a good professional relationship with them

Public Relations

  • Implement public relations initiatives in our clients' key markets (Canada and United States)
  • Develop strategic approaches to strengthen existing relationships with key media outlets
  • Participate in the research and development of integrated communication strategies for the agency's various clients
  • Participate in long-term organizational planning and strategy

Qualifications required

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as an account executive or in a similar position
  • Completion of an undergraduate university degree in a relevant field is required
  • Experience with media relations and pitching
  • Possess excellent multitasking and time management capabilities
  • Have a strategic and creative mind
  • Possess strong spoken and written English and French language skills 
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite

EGS PR est une entreprise de communication spécialisée en relations publiques fondée en 2016, qui a pied à terre à Montréal. Avec une vision globale et une approche personnalisée, EGS collabore auprès d’entreprises de renommée nationale œuvrant dans divers domaines d’industrie ; informatique, intelligence artificielle, nouvelles technologies, alimentaire, divertissement, ventes au détail. Son réseau de clients est vaste et ses compétences le sont tout autant; campagnes locales, nationales et internationales, passant des annonces ponctuelles aux plans de communication intégrés et à leur exécution, l’équipe d’ EGS porte tous ces chapeaux.

Sous la responsabilité de la présidente de l’agence et du gestionnaire de comptes, le chargé de comptes joue un rôle majeur dans le succès de l’agence, à la fois à l’interne — en tant que membre de l’équipe — et à l’externe — en véhiculant une excellente image de l’agence. Le candidat idéal à un esprit d’analyse aiguisé, une approche entrepreneuriale et novatrice. Ce candidat aura pour tâches principales de veiller à la bonne gestion des comptes clients lui étant assignés, soutenu par l’ensemble de l’équipe composée de gestionnaires de comptes, de coordonnatrices, de stagiaires ainsi que de la présidente.

RESPONSABILITÉS

  • Au quotidien, gérer les communications avec certains clients et veiller à ce que les échéanciers soient respectés
  • Élaborer et créer les différentes présentations pour les clients — Proposition, Plan de communication, Rapport d’activités hebdomadaires, Rapports de fin de campagne, etc. 
  • Maintenir une veille quotidienne de l’actualité 
  • Participer à l’élaboration des stratégies de communication et relations publiques — Développement d’angles, Rédaction de communications diverses, etc. 
  • Déployer des initiatives de relations publiques dans les marchés clés (Canada, États-Unis, à l’international) 
  • Développer des approches stratégiques pour renforcer les relations existantes avec les médias 
  • Être le point de contact pour certains suivis (clients, fournisseurs, médias, etc.) 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Plus de 3 années d’expérience dans le domaine des communications et des relations publiques
  • Détenir un diplôme d’études universitaire de premier cycle (ou en voie de) en communications, relations publiques, journalisme, marketing 
  • Expérience en gestion de client (un atout)
  • Esprit à la fois stratégique et créatif 
  • Attitude positive et orientée vers les solutions 
  • Indépendance, fiabilité et excellente gestion du temps 
  • Excellentes aptitudes en communication verbale et écrite en anglais et surtout en français 
  • Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office
