Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant With admin experience to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist physiotherapists in providing care to patients and will also provide crucial support to ensure the smooth operation of our office. Responsibilities - Welcoming​ patients, utilizing patients management software. - Manage office tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, and greeting visitors. - Schedule appointments​ and manage practitioner schedules. - Assist in practitioner cleaning the room and organizing the equipments​- Maintain office organization and cleanliness - Provide excellent customer service to clients​ Support physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans for patients Assist patients with exercises and therapeutic activities Monitor and report patient progress to the physiotherapy team Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions Maintain patient records and documentation accurately Requirements - Experience or education in patient care - Knowledge of medical terminology Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred Familiarity with billing and claims processing Proficient in data entry and computerized systems Familiarity with working in a hospital or acute care environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively within a healthcare team Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 – 28 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule On-site parking Work Location: In person
