SummaryThe Digital Content Lead plays a pivotal role in driving online conversions and performance marketing through a range of strategic responsibilities. These include refining copy and landing pages to enhance user engagement and conversion rates as well as being accountable for analyzing data, metrics, industry trends and competitor products to inform content strategies and improve overall marketing and lead generation effectiveness.Reporting to the Head of Product, this role directs the research and execution of content strategies aimed at boosting conversion rates and customer acquisition for leading sports betting and igaming brands. Moreover, the strategist leads ongoing performance marketing efforts, identifying new opportunities and optimizing existing ones to maximize return on investment and drive business growth.ResponsibilitiesEnhance copy and landing pages to improve user engagement and conversion rates.Continuously research and refine strategies to boost conversion and performance.Assign and manage a team of freelance writers to deliver against a content strategy you define.Analyze competitor marketing tactics to inform and refine our strategies.Work with the product team to ensure new features support optimal performance and user experience.Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams to create content that drives conversions and aligns with marketing objectives.Recommend adjustments to website structure, content, and linking to enhance user experience and conversion rates.Monitor site performance metrics and conversion rates to track progress and identify areas for improvement.Contribute to organic search and traffic acquisition strategies using previous SEO experienceManage team time effectively, providing accurate projections for project completion.Adjust and refine annual plans as needed to meet performance targets.Report on team productivity and the impact of content actions on conversion and performance.Qualifications3+ years of demonstrated experience in performance/ affiliate marketing, web publishing, conversion optimization and/ or similar lead generation roles.Familiarity with marketing analytics and data-driven decision making.SEO/Organic Search experience, with the ability to apply traffic acquisition and growth tacticsDemonstrated ability to create and effectively delegate a strategy and quickly adapt when presented with challenges or obstacles.Experience using business intelligence tools such as Google Analytics, AHrefs, and other reporting tools to inform strategic decisions.Experience writing and marketing for the igaming industry.Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Strong editorial judgment, writing skills, and excellent attention to detail.Working understanding of WordPress, Drupal, and basic HTML.Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment.Proactive, team player with strong interpersonal skills.Excellent project management and organizational skills.Creative mindset, intellectually curious, and interested in presenting strategy in accessible, clever ways.
