Senior Registration Coordinator, Examinations

Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia is currently searching for a Senior Registration Coordinator, Examinations to join our team in Burnaby

The Senior Registration Coordinator, Examinations specializes in the coordination of operational activities for our online academic exams and National Professional Practice Examination programs, including scheduling, exam content coordination, and registration.They also support the Manager, Examinations in developing/implementing activities to ensure Registration data quality and integrity.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Coordinates operational day-to-day activities for online exams. This includes active participation in the planning, scheduling and operations of exam sessions; providingtraining and guidance to the examination team; monitoring exam upload tasks and solution submissions; addressing exam issues and creates an action plan to resolve them based on policies and procedures; developingtemplate emails; collectingincidence reports of major exam issues; and analyzing outcomes of exam sessions.
  • Liaises with exam team members, service providers/contractors and participating regulators to ensure timelines and expectations are met in order to plan and implement each exam session. This includes coordinating meetings and moderating meetings if needed.
  • Makes recommendations for exam program policy and process solutions or improvements to the Manager, Examinations. This includes identifying trends and analyses of exam session outcomes; conducts research on trends and best practices with high stakes examinations; and preparing reports/presentations on findings.
  • Assists in the coordination of the Professional Practice Exam. This includes managing candidate applications, logistics, communication with third-party exam provider, communications to candidates and invigilators, grading of the essay section, andpreparing exam results for upload.
  • Participates in shared department team functions as needed, such as receiving and answering inquiries from applicants; interview prep and setup; supporting the general processing of applications; cataloguing of relevant documentation; and certificate production/mailing.
  • Other duties as assigned by management

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

The successful applicant will possess the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area is required
  • 3-5 years of related experience in the examinations/registration space
  • Knowledge and application of privacy policy, records security and document management protocols
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a consultative and collaborative approach to address issues
  • Exceptional organizational skills, including managing multiple competing priorities and adapting quickly to emerging priorities
  • Results-oriented with an ability to handle assigned tasks and maintain a high level of individual and team performance
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills

This role offers a competitive compensation and benefits program including a salary within our hiring range of $65,000 to $72,500. Placement within the hiring range will be based on candidate experience relative to the requirements of the role. Additional details on our generous benefit offerings are found below.
